Aleksandra Cisoń-Kurdziel is an advocate licensed to practise in Poland and a senior associate in the privacy & data protection department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta.
Aleksandra specialises in advising Polish and foreign companies on data protection, e-commerce and new technology law. She has implemented comprehensive data protection programmes for, among others, service providers in the Software-as-a-Service model and website providers.
She has extensive experience in all aspects of data protection, in particular mapping and managing data protection processes, designing data-driven products and services, conducting compliance audits, drafting risk analyses, policies, standards and agreements relating to data protection, assessing and reporting data protection breaches to regulatory authorities, and providing training. She also has experience in ensuring that websites, sales platforms, marketplaces and mobile applications are compliant with data protection regulations.
Aleksandra has cooperated with renowned law firms specialising in data protection and new technology law and has also worked as an in-house lawyer at one of the largest media groups in Poland, where she dealt with, inter alia, personal data protection, marketing law and media law.
She completed postgraduate studies at Kozminski University, where she majored in The Law of New Technologies.
