Legal 500 Central and Eastern Europe Awards 2025
The Legal 500 Central and Eastern Europe Awards recognise the leading law firms and lawyers in the Central and Eastern Europe region, based on The Legal 500’s thorough, independent research for the annual directory. Our law firm has received an award in the Up and Coming Firm (After 2020) category.
Benchmark Litigation Europe Awards 2025
The Benchmark Litigation Europe Awards celebrate the most outstanding firms and litigators across Europe for their exceptional work over the last year. In 2025 our law firm was named “Poland Firm of the Year”.
Chambers Europe Awards 2024
At Chambers Europe Awards 2024 gala, our law firm was named “Poland Law Firm of the Year.”
The Chambers Europe Awards are organised by Chambers and Partners and honour the work of national and international law firms across Europe based on research conducted for the recent edition of the Chambers Europe Guide. They also reflect achievements over the past 12 months, particularly in terms of outstanding work and excellence in client service. The awards gala took place at The Westin Paris – Vendôme in Paris on 25 April 2024.
The Lawyer European Awards
Our firm has twice received awards for being one of the best law firms in Europe in a competition, organised by the editors of The Lawyer. In 2024, our restructuring team received an award in the “European Finance Team of the Year” category, and in 2023 we were named the best law firm in the CEE region.
“The Lawyer” is the UK’s leading legal weekly and an information portal for business lawyers. The key criteria by which jury members assessed law firms in that competition included the implementation of strategy, financial results, the quality of legal assistance provided and human resource management. The jury included general counsel of prominent corporations and representatives of leading UK law firms.
Chambers and Partners ranking
Both the practices and the lawyers of Rymarz Zdort Maruta are ranked at the top of Chambers and Partners’ rankings.
In the Chambers Global 2026 edition, we were among the highest ranked law firms in five areas of law:

“Poland’s Best Law Firms 2023” is based on recommendations from lawyers working in law firms (peer-to-peer surveys) and business clients (e.g. in-house lawyers in corporate legal departments) in 25 different areas of law.

Mergermarket provides information, data and analyses, and presents a comprehensive and in-depth picture of global M&A transactions. For 2022, we were named the best Central and Eastern European law firm in M&A services “CEE Legal Adviser of the Year”.
ITR World Tax ranking
International Tax Review (ITR) is a global news and analysis service that provides leading business information in respect of all corporate tax issues. In 2024, our tax practice was ranked in Tier 3 in the “General Corporate Tax” and „Tax Controversy” categories. Our tax advisors have also received individual accolades in specific tax areas.
The “Rzeczpospolita” ranking
The ranking of law firms organised by “Rzeczpospolita” is one of the most important events on the Polish legal market calendar. Both quantitative and qualitative results are taken into consideration when compiling the results of the ranking. In 2026, we came second in the “TOP OF THE TOP” list and first in the category of law firms handling leading transactions.
We received the Transaction of the Year award for advising Erste Group on its acquisition of a 49% stake in Santander Bank Polska S.A. and a 50% stake in Santander Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych S.A. from Banco Santander S.A. The total value of the transaction amounted to EUR 7 billion. It was the largest transaction in the history of the Polish capital market and the largest cross-border M&A transaction in the European banking sector in 21 years.
In the individual categories, three other transactions on which we advised were also recognised as among the most important: the financing of the BC Wind offshore wind farm project (valued at nearly EUR 2 billion) for Ocean Winds; the acquisition of the Mennica Legacy Tower complex for Mennica Polska, FIP 11 FIZAN and Multico Sp. z o.o.; and the purchase of a portfolio of 36 properties in Poland (valued at over EUR 300 million) for Ares Management and Slate Asset Management.
We also received a distinction in the “Most Innovative Law Firms of 2025” category for our CSCE solution – Certified Sanctions Compliance Entity – a cross-border system for certifying compliance with sanctions and trade compliance requirements.

“PSIK Awards” competition
The PSIK Awards are organised by the Polish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association (PSIK) to recognise private equity and venture capital fund managers, advisors, banks and law firms for their achievements on the Polish PE/VC market. Candidates for the PSIK Awards are proposed by PSIK members, who form a panel of independent judges to decide on the selection of finalists. The winners of individual categories are decided by voting within the PSIK community.
Our law firm has been named the winner of the PSIK Awards in the category of Legal Advisor of the Year – Private Equity in 2023 and 2024.
