Piotr Kuźniak is an attorney-at-law admitted to practice in Poland, a senior associate at Rymarz Zdort Maruta, and a member of the Employment & Personal Taxation practice.
Piotr is a lawyer with many years of experience in providing comprehensive services to local and international employers in the field of labour law. He supports clients during the process of hiring employees and choosing the optimum form of employment, drafting contracts and internal labour law regulations, as well as in terminating contracts with employees. He represents clients in court disputes, including proceedings before the Supreme Court.
He specialises in issues requiring relations management with trade unions, such as collective disputes or collective bargaining negotiations. Piotr has experience in supporting employers during inspections and litigation with the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS).
He conducts trainings and workshops in the field of labour law specialising in anti-discrimination and anti-mobbing and advises as an expert in the course of internal anti-bullying investigations.
Piotr has authored numerous press publications on labour law, and has co-authored guides and studies on whistleblowers and remote work. He regularly participates in congresses and conferences in the field of labour law, and has been a guest on TV programmes on business and HR topics.
Piotr is a graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and the School of British and European Law co-run by the University of Cambridge and the University of Warsaw. He qualified as an attorney-at-law in 2018.
