Mateusz Dominik is an attorney-at-law admitted to practice in Poland, a senior associate in the technology department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and a member of the FinTech & ICT Regulations practice.
Experience and education:
Mateusz is a specialist in new technologies law, in particular, IT contract law, copyright law, data protection and privacy law, as well as technological and financial regulation issues.
He has extensive contractual experience in large IT projects, including preparing and negotiating contracts concerning implementations in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, maintenance and development of IT systems, hardware purchases, and cloud solutions. During his work as a lawyer, he has also been involved in complex regulatory projects and M&A transactions.
Mateusz gained his professional experience as an in-house lawyer in the legal departments of two banks and a major Polish software provider, and subsequently by providing legal advice to public and private entities, including leading companies in the energy, insurance, telecommunications and IT sectors. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 2015 and completed a course in English and European law organised by the British Centre for English and European Legal Studies at the University of Warsaw in co-operation with the University of Cambridge. He qualified as an attorney-at-law in 2022. Mateusz holds Agile PM Foundation certification.
