We are able to boast of an impressive number of awards and remain the undisputed leader in many prestigious rankings and winners of the most significant awards in the legal industry in Poland, Europe and the world.

Chambers Europe Awards

The Chambers Europe Awards are organised by Chambers and Partners and honour the work of national and international law firms across Europe based on research conducted for the most recent edition of the Chambers Europe Guide. They also reflect achievements over the past 12 months, in particular in terms of outstanding work and excellence in client service.

In this year’s edition of the Chambers and Partners Europe ranking, a total of 14 of our practices were recognised and we received 22 individual recognitions, which were awarded to 18 lawyers.

At the Chambers Europe Awards 2024 gala, our firm was named “Poland Law Firm of the Year”.

The Legal 500 ranking

The Legal 500 is a leading international legal directory identifying the law firms and practice teams that provide the most innovative advice. For years, our firm’s practices have been recognised and recommended.

The Legal 500 Europe 2025 ranking confirmed Rymarz Zdort Maruta’s position as a leading law firm in Poland. This year we were recognised in 16 areas, and 25 lawyers received individual recognitions, including 8 recognised for the first time.

The Lawyer European Awards

Our firm has twice been recognised in the competition for the best law firms in Europe, organised by the editorial team of “The Lawyer”. In 2024, our restructuring team won the “European Finance Team of the Year” category, and in 2023 we were named the best law firm in the CEE region.

“The Lawyer” is the UK’s leading legal weekly and an information portal for business lawyers. The key criteria by which the jury assessed law firms in this competition included the implementation of strategy, financial results, the quality of the legal assistance provided and human resource management. The jury includes general counsel of prominent corporations and representatives of leading UK law firms.

Chambers and Partners Global ranking

Both our practices and our lawyers hold top positions in the Chambers and Partners ranking.

In the Chambers Global 2026 edition we were among the highest-ranked law firms in five areas of law:

Band 1 – Corporate/M&A: High-end Capability, Capital Markets: Equity
Band 3 – International & Cross-Border Capabilities, Litigation: Elite
Band 4 – Banking & Finance.

Also in this year’s edition of the Chambers and Partners Global ranking, we received individual recognitions awarded to 8 lawyers across 4 areas of law.

IFLR1000 ranking

In the 2025 rankings we were identified as a leading law firm in Poland in six areas: M&A, Capital Markets (Equity), Capital Markets (Debt), Project Finance, Project Development and Banking.

Forbes’ “Best Law Firms” List

The “Best Law Firms Poland 2023” – “Poland’s Best Law Firms 2023” list was compiled based on recommendations from lawyers working at law firms (a peer-to-peer survey) and business clients (e.g. in-house lawyers in companies’ legal departments) across 24 different areas of law.

Recognised practices: Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions, TMT, Administrative and Public Law, Banking and Finance, Capital Markets, Intellectual Property, Private Equity, White-Collar Crime, Commercial Dispute Resolution (arbitration, litigation, mediation), Information Technology and Tax.

Mergermarket

Mergermarket provides information, data and analysis, offering a comprehensive and all-round picture of global M&A transactions. For 2022, we were named the best Central and Eastern European law firm for M&A – “CEE Legal Adviser of the Year”.

ITR World Tax ranking

International Tax Review (ITR) is a global news and analysis service providing leading business intelligence on all matters relating to corporate tax. In 2024, our Tax practice was ranked Tier 3 in the “General Corporate Tax” and “Tax Controversy” categories. Our tax advisers also received individual recognitions in particular tax areas.

The “Rzeczpospolita” ranking

The Law Firms Ranking by the “Rzeczpospolita” daily is one of the most important events on the Polish legal market. The classification takes into account both quantitative and qualitative results. In 2026 we took 2nd place on the “TOP OF THE TOP” list, as well as 1st place in the category of law firms handling leading transactions.

In 2026 we received the highest recommendations in six areas:

The “PSIK Awards” competition

The PSIK Awards (Polish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association) recognise the managers of private equity and venture capital funds, advisers, banks and law firms active in this field for their achievements on the Polish private equity and venture capital market. Candidates for the PSIK Awards are nominated by PSIK members. Finalists are selected by an independent jury, and the winners in each category are chosen by a vote of the PSIK community.

Our firm won the PSIK competition in the Legal Adviser – Private Equity category in 2023 and 2024.
