Associate for the Tax Department

We are looking for a person to join our tax practice in providing comprehensive legal services related to tax matters to the firm's international and Polish clients. The incumbent will cooperate with lawyers and tax advisors of the firm in providing specific tax services to clients. In particular, she/he will work on preparing opinions and analyses, preparing M&A-related advice, conducting tax due diligences for both buyers and sellers, performing tax reviews, and advising and representing clients in connection with tax proceedings.

Requirements:

• the professional title of attorney-at-law, advocate or tax advisor;
• at least three years of experience in the area of tax consultancy gained either in tax consultancy firms or law firms;
• experience in preparing tax opinions, working on tax reviews and conducting due diligence;
• an interest in issues related to income tax, value added tax and international taxation;
• a fluent, practical command of spoken and written English, with a special focus on legal terminology;
• very good communication skills, and a keen ability to think analytically and logically;
• very good organisational skills, attention to detail, punctuality, an ability to meet deadlines and a heightened sense of accountability;
• teamworking skills, an ability to work under pressure and a high degree of availability; and
• strong interpersonal skills.
