We have extensive experience in providing services to manufacturers, including global leaders in their respective industries. We are the third line of support for major manufacturers in the intelligent road infrastructure and cybersecurity sectors, among others. We have advised on some of the most challenging IT projects in Poland and have also handled projects for the railway sector. The value of the technological projects which we have represented and successfully defended before the National Appeals Chamber exceeds one billion zlotys.
Having provided legal services to both contractors (economic operators) and contracting authorities allows us to analyse problems from different angles and to more effectively anticipate possible scenarios and the other party’s conduct. In cooperation with the contracting authorities, we support the preparation and conduct of the proceedings starting from the preliminary activities (such as indicative market consultations), through the preparation of the procurement documentation and assistance during the proceedings up to the conclusion of the contract. We also support contracting authorities in the course of challenging projects and in delivery-related disputes with contractors. We have participated in some of Poland’s largest proceedings involving technology projects.
Members of our team are routinely invited by public administration bodies to collaborate on the development of industry standards. Among other achievements, we have co-authored recommendations concerning model contractual clauses for implementation and maintenance agreements concluded for public administration authorities under the Public Procurement Law regime and have participated in work on the draft of the new Public Procurement Law. We are co-authors of the study entitled “Cloud Services in the Public Services Sector – Guidelines for Public Administration” commissioned by the Chancellery of the Prime Minister.
