We have extensive experience in the handling of both domestic and cross-border restructuring and insolvency cases, and cooperate with trusted attorneys from other jurisdictions in conducting such processes when required. For over 20 years, we have advised on the most notable restructurings of companies in Poland, which have involved incredibly complex reorganisations and insolvencies.

Our main focus is on significant restructuring matters involving large numbers of creditors and complex debt situations. We have experience in restructuring capital groups and issuers of bonds, and public and private debt instruments, as well as in advising on credit extensions, collateral and other liabilities. Our strengths include an ability to craft complex strategic solutions and devise legal strategies rather than simply provide advice on individual matters. We advise on a considerable number of cases involving both court and out-of-court restructuring proceedings (including multi-jurisdictional cases), in respect of which we represent both institutional creditors and debtors.

The members of our restructuring team are experts in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, tax, corporate law, litigation, banking and finance, and other relevant fields. Offering integrated legal and tax solutions in complex restructurings is one of the most significant strengths of our practice.

We represent various stakeholders, including debtors, creditors and corporate governing bodies, in particular management boards. We have especially in-depth experience in representing distressed asset investors, private equity funds in restructurings and clients in pre-pack cases. We also have a great deal of experience in advising on the purchase of receivables.
