Adam Drgas is an associate in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and a member of the Financial Regulatory team.
Experience and education:
He specialises in banking law, capital markets regulations, investment funds, crypto-assets and other financial regulatory matters. He has been involved in advising on regulatory matters, including matters concerning MiFID II, AIFMD, CRR and PSD II. He has advised financial institutions in connection with regulatory proceedings before the Financial Supervisory Commission and in connection with internal rule making, as well as has advised on the regulatory aspects of M&A transactions and legal due diligence investigations.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in 2022 and also studied at Leiden University as a participant in the Erasmus+ programme. He completed postgraduate studies in banking and finance at the Warsaw School of Economics in 2024. Since 2024, he has been a PhD student at the Doctoral School of Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw, where he is preparing his thesis on the regulation of artificial intelligence in brokerage activities.
