
Aleksandra Pliszek-Kulig is an advocate and an associate in the dispute resolution and litigation department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta.
Experience and education:
Aleksandra specialises in complex civil and commercial disputes as well as criminal law matters. She advises companies across a wide range of industries, including energy, oil & gas, real estate, banking, financial services, and game development.
She has advised on numerous civil and commercial disputes, including post-M&A disputes concerning representations, warranties, and earn-out clauses, as well as corporate conflicts related to shareholder resolutions and the liability of management board members. She represents clients before common courts and in domestic and international arbitration proceedings, including matters before international arbitration institutes such as the Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) and the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA).
In criminal law, Aleksandra has been involved in high-profile proceedings, representing both injured parties and defending individuals accused or charged with wrongdoing. Her work covers cases involving corporate misconduct, fraud and money laundering. Aleksandra is also a member of the Polish chapter of the Women’s White Collar Defence Association (WWCDA).
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in 2021. That same year, Aleksandra completed a course in German law organised by the School of German Law at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków in cooperation with Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg and Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Main. She qualified as an advocate in 2025.
