Aleksandra Pustiowska is an advocate admitted to practice in Poland and a senior associate in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta.
Experience and education:
A specialist in corporate law, she has advised legal entities on various matters and provided ongoing legal advice, including: contracts negotiation, preparation of documents, resolutions, legal opinions, representation in litigation, administrative and criminal proceedings, related to companies’ operations. She advised companies on matters regarding employee’s wrongdoings and protection of companies interests against unjust competition. She has also participated in meetings of shareholders and of management boards and supervisory boards. She has advised her clients on matters and contracts related to transfer of shares.
She has major experience in advising on resolution of corporate disputes as well. She advised and represented shareholders and companies in disputes related to correctness of a company’s resolutions, dissolution of a company, exclusion of a shareholder, compulsory buyout of shares, liability of a member of the company’s management board (including actio pro socio), liability related to unjust competition, etc. She advised and represented her clients in criminal proceedings related to wrongdoings of members of the management board, shareholders or employees. She has also advised on settlements related to corporate disputes.
She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Wrocław in 2013 and completed a student exchange programme at the Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius. During her studies, she received a rector’s scholarship for the best students. She qualified as an advocate in 2017. She received an award from the Dean of the District Bar Council in Katowice for the best advocate trainees.
