Dr Jakub Rachwol

Dr Jakub Rachwol is an attorney-at-law admitted to practice in Poland, a partner in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta, and co-head of the banking and finance practice.

Experience and education:

With over 15 years of professional experience, he regularly advises sponsors, companies, banks, private debt funds and other financial institutions in connection with various types of financings.

In recent years, Jakub’s work has centred on acquisition finance, project finance and structured finance, with a particular focus on transactions in the energy sector. Jakub is one of the leading banking lawyers in Poland in terms of his experience and track record in advising on the financing of renewable energy projects.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków in 2005 and qualified as an attorney-at-law in 2011. In 2009, Jakub obtained a Ph.D. from Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany.
