
Karolina Nowak is a tax advisor and an associate in the tax department at Rymarz Zdort Maruta.
Experience and education:
She specialises in tax law, focusing on issues relating to international tax law, with a particular emphasis on tax residency, withholding tax and the assessment of the tax implications of cross-border structures. Karolina has participated in numerous tax due diligence projects, the preparation of tax opinions and analyses, and has also provided support in proceedings before tax authorities and administrative courts.
Before joining Rymarz Zdort Maruta, she gained professional experience working at law firms in Warsaw, the Ministry of Finance and the Office of the Financial Ombudsman. Karolina has also cooperated with one of the Big Four audit firms.
She is a graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and Kozminski University. She is currently undertaking postgraduate studies at the University of Warsaw on ‘Prevention of economic, fiscal and property crime’. She became a certified tax advisor in 2025.
