Leszek Tokarski is an attorney-at-law admitted to practice in Poland, a partner of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and the head of the Tax practice.
Experience and education:
Leszek Tokarski has over 25 years of experience providing tax advisory services, which he gained at two of the Big4 consulting firms, where he headed specialist tax practices, and during his work for the Ministry of Finance.
He cooperates with domestic and international corporations operating in the financial, real estate, new technologies and natural resources markets. He advises clients of Rymarz Zdort Maruta on the tax structuring of transactions in Poland and throughout the European Union. He provides tax advisory services in relation to M&A projects, equity transactions (IPO, SPO, ABB) and debt market transactions. He also handles restructurings of capital groups and regulatory projects, such as bank recovery and resolution proceedings, and advises on tax law.
Leszek Tokarski’s practice has been focused specifically on tax litigation and the handling of audit proceedings involving tax matters. He represents clients as a trial attorney in fiscal criminal cases. Within Rymarz Zdort Maruta, he is responsible for designing tax security programmes for clients.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 1993 and qualified as an attorney-at-law in 1998.
