Magdalena Matysiak, an associate in the technology department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and a member of the FinTech & ICT Regulations team.
Experience and education:
She specialises in regulations related to the outsourcing of IT services in the regulated sector and the use of cloud technology, in particular by entities in the financial sector.
She has been involved in dozens of cloud implementations, as well as numerous outsourcing projects in the financial sector. Magdalena has also collaborated on IT contracts and payment services projects. She graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw (with honours) and completed a course in English and European law organised by the British Law Centre for English Law at the University of Warsaw in co-operation with the University of Cambridge.
During her studies, she served as the Vice President of the Banking Law Academic Organisation, where, among other things, she co-organised the 11th and 12th editions of the Banking Law and Financial Technology Congress. Magdalena also served as a member of the Council of the Student Self-Government Unit of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and represented students on the Faculty Council.
