Marta Szczepkowska is an advocate, an associate in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta, and a member of the Energy & Natural Resources and Environmental Law and ESG practice teams.
Experience and education:
She specialises in energy law and Polish and EU environmental law. She has been involved in providing regulatory and M&A advisory services in the energy sector, including in particular in connection with renewable energy projects (photovoltaic power plants, offshore and onshore wind farms, biogas plants), as well as in the heating and fuel sectors, and has participated in numerous due diligence investigations in this area.
She has advised clients from, among others, the construction, real estate, waste management and telecommunication sectors on, among others, land surface pollution, waste regulations, emissions regulations and environmental decision proceedings.
She graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 2019. In addition, she completed the Summer Law School “Law & Business” programme organised by the Universidade Catolica Portuguesa in Porto in 2016. She was admitted to practice as an advocate in 2023.
