Mateusz Nowak is an attorney-at-law, a senior associate in the technology department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and a member of the FinTech & ICT Regulations team.
He specialises in new technologies law, particularly in the areas of complex IT contracts, intellectual property, cloud contracts (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS), IT outsourcing contracts, e-service contracts and in dealing with e-commerce entities.
He has for years been professionally involved in providing legal consultancy services in the IT and e-commerce industries. He has extensive contractual experience in large implementation and maintenance projects related to IT systems and cloud solutions, including in the area of innovative solutions for the financial and automotive industries.
Mateusz gained his professional experience as an in-house lawyer in a major Polish software provider and data centre service provider, and, subsequently, by providing legal advice to a number of IT and e-commerce entities, including in the area of medical systems.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Silesia in Katowice with honours, receiving two scientific scholarships during his studies. Mateusz also completed postgraduate studies in New Technologies Law and IT at Kozminski University in Warsaw
