Mateusz Nowak is an attorney-at-law, a senior associate in the technology department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and a member of the FinTech & ICT Regulations team.
He specialises in new technologies law, particularly in the areas of complex IT contracts, intellectual property, cloud contracts (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS), IT outsourcing contracts, e-service contracts and in dealing with e-commerce entities.
He has extensive contractual experience in large implementation and maintenance projects of IT systems and cloud solutions, including in the area of innovative solutions for the financial and automotive industries.
Mateusz gained his professional experience as an in-house lawyer in a major Polish software provider and Data Centre service provider, and subsequently in providing legal advice to a number of IT and e-commerce entities, including in the area of medical systems.
He graduated with honours in law from the University of Silesia in Katowice, receiving two scientific scholarships during his studies. For years he has been professionally involved in legal consultancy services for the IT and e-commerce industries. Mateusz completed postgraduate studies in the Law of Modern Technologies and an IT for Lawyers course at the Kozminski University in Warsaw.
