Mateusz Palian

Senior Associate

Mateusz Palian is an attorney-at-law and a senior associate in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and a member of the Restructuring and Insolvency practice.

Before joining Rymarz Zdort Maruta, he gained over 13 years of experience at a locally recognised law firm specialising in insolvency proceedings. His expertise extends to both liquidation and reorganisation proceedings, primarily involving public listed companies, financial institutions, and bond issuers. He actively participated in pre-pack sales and distressed asset transactions, and he represented clients in matters related to directors’ liability. Additionally, he provided counsel in private insolvency proceedings.

Mateusz Palian graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Jagiellonian University in 2009 (summa cum laude). He also holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration from the same university (2011). As part of his legal training, he attended the National School of Judiciary and Public Prosecution from 2009 to 2010. In 2014, he successfully qualified as an attorney-at-law.
