Natalia Zawadzka is an advocate licensed to practise in Poland and a senior associate in the privacy & data protection department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta.
Natalia specialises in new technology law, data protection, and marketing law. She has many years of experience in providing a wide range of legal services to businesses. She has opined on business projects in terms of their compliance with applicable law, including competition and consumer protection legislation. She has participated in proceedings conducted by the Office for Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK), the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO) and commercial courts. She has conducted personal data protection audits and projects involving the implementation of data protection measures for, among others, a capital group with an extensive retail network, an international industrial holding company, e-commerce businesses and travel agencies.
Natalia has co-authored numerous publications on e-commerce and data protection law, including commentaries on the GDPR and the Personal Data Protection Act, the monographs “GDPR in e-commerce” and “Whistleblower protection and breach reporting proceedings”, and numerous articles on internet-related laws. She also has experience in conducting training courses on data protection, new technology law and business law. She has cooperated with renowned law firms specialising in new technology law and has also worked as an in-house lawyer at one of the largest drugstore chains in Poland, where she dealt with, inter alia, personal data protection and marketing matters.
She completed her doctoral studies in law at the University of Łódź, and her management studies at the Polish-American Management Center (PAM Center). She also studied at Georg-August-Universität Göttingen.
