Patrycja Tatar-Piecha is an attorney-at-law and a senior associate in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and a member of the restructuring and insolvency practice.
Patrycja specialises in advising in connection with civil and commercial proceedings, representing both Polish and foreign clients, with an emphasis on proceedings with elements of restructuring and bankruptcy law, as well as injunction and enforcement proceedings. Her professional experience includes, in particular, representation of both debtors and creditors (with a focus on banks) in proceedings related to the liability of board members for the debts of managed entities, as well as in complex bankruptcy proceedings.
She has also advised numerous times in corporate and construction disputes with insolvency and enforcement elements, as well as represented banks in proceedings involving the performance of banking and depositary activities. Moreover, she assisted clients in negotiations with a particular focus on developing comprehensive strategies to amicably manage pending proceedings so as to enable clients to achieve their specific investment goals.
Prior to joining Rymarz Zdort Maruta, she gained experience in Polish and international law firms in Warsaw. She has also worked on different pro-bono projects, including with the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights and the Cancer Fighters Foundation.
In 2015, she graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw. She also studied art history at the same university. She qualified as an attorney-at-law in 2019.
