Magdalena Pyzik-Waląg becomes new managing partner of Rymarz Zdort Maruta

We are pleased to announce that on 1 December 2024 Magdalena Pyzik-Waląg became a managing partner of Rymarz Zdort Maruta. The firm has gained an experienced leader for its management body who will be able to share her unique perspective of the business, which is sure to prove invaluable.

Magdalena joined Rymarz Zdort Maruta in 2006, and since 2018 she has headed the Restructuring and Insolvency practice as well as the Distressed Asset Investments team. She has many years of experience in handling complex M&A transactions, both at the domestic and international level, as well as in restructuring and insolvency matters, where she has frequently played a leading role in complex proceedings of that type, including some of the largest resolution proceedings and restructurings in Poland and Europe. Under Magdalena’s lead, the team has conducted ground-breaking transactions using advanced legal tools that were not previously applied in the European Union. An acclaimed lawyer, she has received numerous awards and distinctions in Polish and international legal rankings.
