Łukasz Lech specialises in providing legal advice on M&A transactions, regulatory issues and project contracts in the renewable energy sector, along with related environmental aspects. He has worked on a number of domestic and international M&A transactions and project financing deals for energy and infrastructure assets, including a number of offshore wind and onshore renewable energy investment projects.
Dr Adam Puchalski specialises in regulatory issues related to the financial sector, as well as commercial law, capital markets and M&A transactions. He has advised on numerous transactions in the banking market in Poland, as well as on regulatory issues relating to the financial sector. He has represented clients before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority, supporting them in supervisory procedures. His experience also includes advising on disclosure obligations of listed companies.
Krzysztof Rembierz specialises in providing legal and tax services to domestic and foreign financial institutions, property development companies, and IT and gaming companies. In his professional practice, he has advised on the largest commercial real estate transactions in Poland. In addition to transactional and ongoing advice, he supports clients in R&D and IP BOX implementations, helping them to make effective use of innovation tax credits. He also represents clients before tax, customs and fiscal authorities and administrative courts – both in tax and criminal fiscal matters.
Maria Szczepańska specialises in procedural law, and heads the commercial criminal law practice. She has extensive experience representing clients at both pre-trial and trial stages. She represents clients in cases related to money laundering, bribery and corruption, fraud, managerial offences, insider trading violations, market abuse and personal injury cases. Additionally, she heads the French Desk.
Piotr Zawacki specialises in tax advice on mergers and acquisitions, as well as group reorganisation processes. His expertise also covers tax aspects related to corporate restructuring, including having worked on the largest forced restructurings conducted in the banking sector. He has extensive experience in tax litigation, including withholding tax and taxation of foreign controlled entities (CFCs). In addition, he provides ongoing tax advice to clients, including financial institutions and IT companies.
