With the first half of 2024 behind us, Mergermarket has just published its “Global and Regional M&A Rankings 1H24 – Legal Advisors” which, we believe, are the best indicators of a law firm’s position in the M&A market. We are delighted to announce that Rymarz Zdort Maruta has maintained its top position among law firms in Poland – securing first place in terms of number of deals and third place in terms of transaction value after having advised on 12 deals valued at almost USD 668 million.
As for the entire Central and Eastern Europe region, Rymarz Zdort Maruta was in ninth place in terms of the number of transactions recognised by Mergermarket .
During the first half of 2024 we advised, among others, Bridgepoint (in connection with the sale of 100% of the shares in SMYK Group), Bank Guarantee Fund (in connection with the sale to a US fund, Cerberus Capital Management, L.P., of 100% of the shares in VeloBank), American Heart of Poland (with regard to the acquisition of control over Scanmed Group from Abris Capital Partners), Virtusa International B.V., Mycofeast Ltd., Fusion Invest GmbH, CloudFerro, the founders of Akademeia Educational Group, MEKO AB, eWejściówki and Arabelle Solutions.
