Aleksander Grudniewski is a trainee advocate, an associate in the technology department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta, and a member of the Financial Technology & Regulations team.
Experience and education:
A specialist in intellectual property and emerging technology law. He has gained experience working for boutique and big law firms listed in Chambers and Legal 500 rankings. He has worked as an in-house lawyer for a Forbes Poland-featured mobile game development company. For years, he has cooperated with video game developers, graphic designers, and music composers, advising them on copyright law.
He has worked on various IT and blockchain-related projects, including the issue of cryptocurrency and an NFT collection on the world’s largest exchanges and marketplaces. In game dev, he was responsible for legal relations with a Fortune 500 American company, law firms on five continents, and many prominent fintech startups, mainly in the United Kingdom, Singapore, South Korea, and Poland. He has also counselled on copyright infringement risks relating to artificial intelligence implementation in game production.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Silesia and completed the IT/TMT law course at H. Grotius Intellectual Property Centre in Krakow. Since 2022, he has been the chairman of the new technology law section of the Krakow Bar Association.
