Jakub Bogucki is an associate in the dispute resolution department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta.
Jakub specialises in arbitration, civil and commercial disputes, and commercial and company law. He has worked on teams involved in disputes before international arbitration institutes, e.g. the Vienna International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) and the Court of Arbitration at the International Chambers of Commerce (ICC), as well as ad hoc arbitration under UNCITRAL Rules. He has experience in complex post-M&A (related to the representations and warranties and final price settlement), construction and contractual disputes. In addition, Jakub has supported the litigation team in regulatory disputes and disputes related to competition law violations.
He graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in 2022. During his studies, Jakub was awarded the Rector’s Scholarship for students with outstanding achievements four times. Also, he was actively involved in student organisations, in particular, as the President of ELSA Poland (European Law Students’ Association) in the 2020-2021 term. In 2023 he completed the Columbia Summer Program in American Law organised in Amsterdam by Columbia Law School, University of Amsterdam and Leiden University.
