Jan Bednarski is an associate in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and a member of the Life Sciences team.
Experience and education:
Jan provides legal advice in the field of compliance, anticorruption, whistleblowing and pharmaceutical law. He regularly carries out projects involving the implementation of internal compliance management systems, including the development of internal regulations in accordance with plain language and legal design methodologies. He has participated in complex implementations of ISO 37001 standards and whistleblowing systems in organisations across many industries, including energy, pharmaceutical, construction, heavy industry and food.
He also specialises in forensic activities, in particular investigative audits and open-source intelligence. He has conducted audits of companies belonging to international capital groups, successfully uncovering fraudulent activities of employees.
He is a law graduate of the University of Wrocław and holds a master’s degree in computer science and an engineering degree in automation and robotics obtained from the Wrocław University of Technology. He has also studied International Technology Law in Amsterdam (LL.M.). Jan has interdisciplinary knowledge combining legal and IT issues.
