Maciej Nowicki

Maciej Nowicki is a tax advisor and of counsel in the tax department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta.

Experience and education:

Maciej has over seventeen years of experience in providing tax advisory services, which experience he mostly gained in one of the Big4 accounting firms. Since the beginning of his career he has focused on clients in the pharma and life sciences sectors. His clients also include companies in the FMCG and manufacturing sectors, and major shared service centres.

Maciej primarily advises on corporate income taxation (including withholding tax, minimum tax, and Estonian CIT and transfer pricing issues), as well as issues related to value added tax (VAT). As part of his work advising clients, he has conducted tax reviews, tax refund projects, and a number of CIT and VAT compliance projects. He has also participated in a number of business advisory projects that allowed him to combine his substantive tax knowledge with a business approach to the issues under assessment.

He graduated from the SGH Warsaw School of Economics with a degree in International Relations in 2006, and from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 2014. Maciej obtained his tax advisor licence in 2009.
