Paweł Szorc is a senior associate in the technology department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and a member of the Video Games & Entertainment team.
He specialises in new technologies law, in particular intellectual property law and IT contracts. He has advised on numerous technology projects implemented in, among others, the gamedev industry and the financial sector, including unique projects involving the implementation of solutions based on cloud computing. Among other things, he supported the National Cloud Operator in negotiating a strategic partnership agreement with Google, on the basis of which a Google Cloud region was launched in Poland. Currently, his professional interests primarily include innovative models of product and service delivery in the gamedev industry and the legal aspects of using solutions based on artificial intelligence.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law of the University of Białystok and completed postgraduate studies in new technologies law at the Koźmiński University. Paweł is a PhD student at the University of Warsaw. He organises and participates in numerous scientific and popular science events concerning issues in connection with the legal issues and new technologies.
