Tomasz Bąkowski is an advocate, a senior associate in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and a member of the Real Estate team.
Experience and education:
A specialist in real estate, construction and zoning law, the property development process, and administrative procedures, he has worked on various real estate and corporate transactions in Poland and abroad, including property acquisitions, retail developments, public-private partnerships, and the leasing of commercial, office and industrial premises.
His experience also includes a number of administrative proceedings related to development and construction permits, zoning, environmental matters and the protection of historical monuments, as well as real estate aspects of mergers and acquisitions and initial public offerings (IPOs), advising on the acquisition and expansion of onshore and offshore renewable energy investments, including related development agreements and property management.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 2013, also completing a course in English and European law organised by the British Centre for English and European Legal Studies at the University of Warsaw in cooperation with the University of Cambridge. In 2017, he completed postgraduate studies in Legal and Economic Bases of the Investment Process at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. He qualified as an advocate in 2018.
