Dr Paweł Mazur is an advocate admitted to practice in Poland, an attorney admitted to practice in the State of New York and a senior associate in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta.
Experience and education:
A specialist in corporate law, he has been involved in advising on a number of significant M&A and private equity transactions. He has also been involved in a number of mergers, demergers and transformations of limited liability companies and in advising on corporate governance for private and public companies.
Paweł is an assistant professor at SWPS University in Warsaw, where he teaches civil and commercial law, and a research fellow at Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius, where he conducts research under a grant from the Research Council of Lithuania.
He graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 2016. In 2019, he obtained an LL.M. degree in corporation law from the New York University School of Law, and in 2020 also obtained a Ph.D. in civil law from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw and qualified as an advocate. In addition, he has completed courses in US law co-organised by Columbia Law School and the University of Florida Levin College of Law, as well as a course in German law co-organised by the University of Bonn.
