We are pleased to announce that we advised Legia Warszawa S.A. on the sale of a minority stake in the club to Michael Gorzynski, who was appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Board as part of the transaction. Dariusz Mioduski retains his majority stake and remains President of the club.
The transaction involved the issuance of new shares, the acquisition of a portion of the existing shares from Dariusz Mioduski, as well as a shareholder loan to support the club’s operations.
Michael Gorzynski is a US entrepreneur of Polish descent and the owner and Chairman of Continental Insurance Group Ltd. He has more than 20 years of experience in the capital markets, investment management and insurance fields.
