Paulina Kolowca is an attorney-at-law admitted to practice in Poland, a licensed restructuring advisor, an associate in the corporate department of Rymarz Zdort Maruta and a member of the Restructuring and Insolvency practice.

Experience and education:

A specialist in bankruptcy, restructuring, transactions and commercial law, Paulina has many years of experience in litigation, in particular in the enforcement of claims relating to the financial market and in commercial matters. Paulina represents both creditors and debtors in restructuring and insolvency matters at all stages of proceedings, including out-of-court negotiations.

She has participated in numerous transactions involving the acquisition and disposal of difficult assets from bankrupt entities or entities facing potential bankruptcy, including pre-pack cases. She has experience in handling cases concerning the personal liability of company representatives, proceedings for a ban on conducting business activity, as well as cases aimed at recognition of the legal actions concerning a debtor’s assets as ineffective towards the creditor.

She has provided comprehensive legal assistance in the day-to-day operations of companies, partnerships and limited liability companies, in the organisation and transformation of business structures, and in the resolution of disputes between shareholders.

She has appeared before all instances of common courts, the Supreme Court and administrative courts, including the Supreme Administrative Court. Paulina is an experienced court mediator, including serving as a mediator for the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.

She completed postgraduate studies at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics in Transfer Pricing and Tax Management and postgraduate studies at Lazarski University in Restructuring and Bankruptcy Law.
