Tomasz Kordala is an attorney-at-law admitted to practice in Poland, a senior associate in the corporate department and a member of the Competition/Antitrust practice of Rymarz Zdort Maruta.
Experience and education:
Tomasz specialises in a wide range of antitrust law matters, including matters concerning merger control, dawn raids, cartels, distribution and commercial agreements as well as abuse of a dominant position. He also specialises in consumer protection laws and foreign direct investment (FDI) screening mechanisms. He was engaged in numerous cases before the Polish Office for Competition and Consumer Protection and the European Commission.
He gained experience in providing antitrust advice to many companies from various industries, such as energy, real estate, FMCG and oil and gas. Prior to joining the law firm, he worked for over seven years in the competition/antitrust practice of one of international law firms in Warsaw.
He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw in 2015 and completed a course in English and European law organised by the British Centre for English and European Legal Studies at the University of Warsaw in co-operation with the University of Cambridge in 2015. In 2022 he completed Postgraduate Diploma in EU Competition Law at King’s College, University of London. He qualified as an attorney-at-law in 2019.
